Do I need my own motorcycle?
No
Training motorcycles can usually be provided for an additional cost
Do I need to bring my licence?
Yes.
Please ensure you bring your Photocard licence.
I don’t have a licence, can I still attend?
No
You cannot start any course without a licence. To apply for a licence you can pick up form D1 from the Post Office and apply for one, or you can apply online.
I have a foreign licence, can I use this?
No
If you have a licence from outside of the UK you will need to convert it to a UK one.
Please visit Gov.uk web site this will guide you through the process of changing your licence.
Does the price include bike hire?
Yes
Unless stated otherwise.
Can I pay hourly?
Yes
Our hourly rate is £60.00 (minimum of 2 hours)
Are there any Eye Sight Requirements?
Yes
You must be able to read a registration plate with or without contact lenses or glasses at a distance of 66 feet (20 metres).
If English isn’t my first language can I bring someone with me?
Yes
If you do not speak and understand English to a good conversational level then you must bring a translator with you.
Do I need to read the Highway Code before my Course?
Yes
You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Highway Code.
